VINCENT GREASON IS THE RECIPIENT OF THE PRIX ÉMILE-OLLIVIER 2017

Vincent Greason has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to adult education, particularly in the field of popular education and human rights education. Throughout his life, he has campaigned for the democratization of knowledge.
Vincent was successively:

  • Facilitator at the Carrefour de pastorale in the working world;
  • Facilitator at the Center for Popular Education of the Commission des écoles catholiques de Québec;
  • Education Officer and Coordinator of the Québec Education and Popular Education Movement – MÉPACQ

He is currently Coordinator of the Outaouais OVEP Round Table

Vincent was a member of the Adult Education Commission of the Superior Council of Education from 1996 to 1999, the ICES Board of Directors from 1994 to 2001, and the Executive Committee of the Institute. 1996 to 1999.

Vincent Greason’s curriculum vitae demonstrates a decades-long commitment to a diverse range of sectors (union, community, francophone, anglophone, national and international).A commitment that is as much in his professional life as citizen and which extends to several contexts: grassroots groups, regional groupings and national groupings.

Since 2009, Vincent has been a Fellow of the Carold Foundation.
